Your Local Enterprise Office invites you to their free seminar on Supports and Funding Opportunities for  Start-Up Businesses

 Showcase promo kilkenny businesses

Kilkenny County Council, through its Local Enterprise Office, is staging an extensive seminar event showcasing the supports and funding opportunities for start-up businesses in Kilkenny at Newpark Hotel, Kilkenny on Thursday the 9th of February from 9:30am-12 noon.

This event has been specifically designed to help entrepreneurs and start-up businesses to understand and find out more about the services provided by organisations with a remit for enterprise development. Expert advice will be available to inform entrepreneurs about where to start, what supports are available to set up and how to develop the business both on national and international markets.

Representatives from a range of state agencies and funding organisations such as the Intreo, Southeast BIC, Kilkenny Leader Partnership, Enterprise Ireland, AIB, BOI, HSA and more will be present. A discussion panel with local entrepreneurs will also take place, hosted by Kieran Cuddihy of Newstalk, to discuss their real-life experiences in the market today.

According to Cathaoirleach, Cllr. Pat Fitzpatrick, "Kilkenny County Council is actively working to highlight the support systems available for start-up businesses in Kilkenny through events like the LEO Showcase" adding that "we are so proud of all of home-grown entrepreneurs and we are confident to continue to support new start-up businesses in any way that we can."

‘This LEO showcase event is all about assisting business owners and start-ups in better understanding and learning more about the services offered by organisations with a focus on enterprise development” according to Aileen McGrath, Head of Enterprise (Acting), Local Enterprise Office, Kilkenny County Council.
